APEX2EBS - Part 2

APEX Setup

We need to create a new schema APEX2EBS in the APEX database for the APEX2EBS framework. This schema is used for the new workspace.

Note

If APEX is running in a PDB, run ALTER SESSION SET CONTAINER=[container] first
Script 1-CREATE-USER.sql is an example.

CREATE USER "APEX2EBS" IDENTIFIED BY "APEX2EBS"
  DEFAULT TABLESPACE "USERS"
  TEMPORARY TABLESPACE "TEMP";

ALTER USER "APEX2EBS" QUOTA UNLIMITED ON "USERS";

GRANT CREATE JOB TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE DIMENSION TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE INDEXTYPE TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE OPERATOR TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE TYPE TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE TRIGGER TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE PROCEDURE TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE SEQUENCE TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE VIEW TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE SYNONYM TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE CLUSTER TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE TABLE TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE SESSION TO "APEX2EBS";
GRANT CREATE DATABASE LINK TO "APEX2EBS";

Use sqlplus to log on to APEX2EBS schema:
- Run script 2-APEX2EBS-DDL.SQL to create schema objects.
- Run script 3-A2E-LANG-MAPPING-DATA.SQL to insert language mapping data
- Run script 4-A2E-FUNCTIONS.SQL to create functions
- Run script 5-APEX2EBS-PKS.SQL to create package spec of APEX2EBS_PKG
- Run script 6-APEX2EBS-PKB.SQL to create package body of APEX2EBS_PKG
  - The error Package Body created with compilation errors is expected because it contains SQL using DB link. This DB link APEX_TO_EBS will be created during the setup, and this package body will be re-compiled.
Open APEX login page and log on as INTERNAL ADMIN

Create a new Workspace APEX2EBS. Re-use the existing schema APEX2EBS we just created.

After the workspace is created, sign out the admin interface.
